hometax

hometax logs into the Korean tax portal Hometax with a file-based public certificate (NPKI) and reads e-tax invoices, business cards, card sales, cash receipts, business accounts and registered counterparties. The same implementation is exposed as a command-line tool, a Python library and a local HTTP API, and also installs as a Claude Code plugin. It is explicitly unofficial: it replays requests used by the Hometax web screens rather than any API issued by the tax service, so it stops if the portal changes and the tax service may block automated access. It should be used only with your own certificate and business, at your own risk, and anyone querying other people's data on their behalf is told to consult the tax service first. Issuing, correcting and cancelling invoices create real tax documents and only send with --yes; the README states that real-world transmission of these is still unverified, as is applying counterparty edits. Verification so far covers macOS on Apple Silicon.
