lyn-complaint-drafter supports the part of an attorney's work that is mechanical but unforgiving: turning a consultation recording, a set of notes, and a folder of evidence into a first draft of a Korean criminal complaint (고소장). It is published by attorney 이영남 at thechain.lawyer and listed here with a link to the original file. Intake pulls the parties (with the second half of resident-registration numbers masked), the time, place and sequence of the alleged offense, the scale of harm, and the relationship between the parties. Legal analysis then names the offenses, including concurrent ones, and walks the elements. The step that earns the skill its place is the aggravating-provision sweep: occupational embezzlement and breach of trust under Criminal Act §356, the Act on Aggravated Punishment of Specific Economic Crimes once the gain reaches 500 million won, the Aggravated Punishment Act, habitual-offense and night-time or weapon aggravation, and special statutes such as the Information and Communications Network Act. Missing a gradation here changes the forum and the sentence, and it is exactly what gets skipped under time pressure. A banner warning is printed at the top of the document when the matter is urgent or exposed: prescription within three months, a complaint deadline running out on a 친고죄, damages above 500 million won, a public-official respondent, complex concurrent respondents, or evidence thin enough to carry false-accusation risk. The output is a draft for the handling attorney to review and revise — not a filing, and not legal advice.
