From Advertising to a SaaS Exit — What I Found at the End
I began my career in advertising and brand strategy. Over the 22-year journey that started there, I founded a SaaS company and went through an exit. Each was a different seat solving a different problem, yet they left me standing before the same question: what actually changes people and organizations?
What I confirmed at the end of all those paths was surprisingly simple. AX (AI Transformation) ends not with systems but with people. It is easy to assume that more sophisticated automation or a better tool is the destination, but the place my path kept pointing to was, in the end, the person using that tool.
What Separates Good Automation From Good AX?
Good automation does the work for you and then leaves. The workload drops, but all that remains is a tool. Good AX does the opposite: it leaves people behind—an organization where, even after the consultant is gone, employees fix the tools themselves and uncover new automation on their own. Creating that difference is what I mean by AX.
Carrying On the Work That Makes That Difference, as SH Consulting
I am carrying on the work of making that difference under the name SH Consulting: AX consulting, enterprise AI training, and Vibe Coding builds—three strands of bringing AI into an organization in a way that leaves people behind. From here on, I will record that process, step by step, in this space.
